ASTM A204 Grade A steel shall be supplied normally in the as-rolled delivery condition.The plates also may be ordered in Normalised or stress relieved or both.For thickness above 40mm,pressure vessel steel plate SA204 Grade A shall be in Normalised heat treatment.

ASTM A204/A204M Gr.A for pressure vessel steel specification covers molybdenum alloy, intended particularly of welded boilers and others pressure vessels steel plate in A204 Gr. A, A204 Gr .B and A 204 Gr .C.
