It finds wide applications as both excellent corrosion resistance and high strength.
PREN=Cr+3.3Mo+16N > 40
Better chloride stress corrosion resistance under low stress than 316/316L
Good hole corrosion resistance
Good property on corrosion fatigue resistance & grinding corrosion
Better mechanical property than austenitic stainless steel
