1040 steel has carbon content of 0.44% or less. Bebon is a professional AISI 1040 steel tube supplier. We can offer 1040 round steel tube, square steel tube and rectangular steel tube.
Chemical composition of AISI 1040 steel tube:
C:0.37-0.44;Mn:0.60-0.90;P≤0.04;S≤0.05
1040 square tube is supplied as hot rolled or cold drawn. Heat treatment is carried out to render 1040 steel tube suitable for machining and improve its specified mechanical properties.
Heat treatment:Annealing, normalizing, hardening, tempering
Applications:1040 steel tube can be used for construction and machinery engineering where strength and hardness are required.
