ASTM A131 FH36, F means quality grade of the high strength hull structural steel. Hull structure steel includes general strength structural steel and high strength structural steel. General strength hull structural steel is divided into A, B, D, E and high strength hull structural steel is combined by four quality levels(A, D, E, F)and three strength levels(32、36、40). So high strength hull structural steel includes A32、D32、E32、F32, A36、D36、E36、F36, A40、D40、E40、F40.
