7. Characteristic: Tool Steel D2 has
high resistance against abrasive and adhesive wear due to a high volume of hard carbides in the steel matrix moderate machinability, good dimensional stability, toughness and through harden ability.

8. Application: D2 is used for
high performance cutting tools for steet up to 4mm thickness,trimming dies,blanking dies for paper and plastic ,shear blades for cutting light gauge materialthreat rolling dies,drawing,deep drawing,pressure pads and highly wear-resistant plastic moulds.
