Both S355G10+N steel and S355G10+M steel plates are weldable structural steel for fixed offshore structures under European standard EN 10225. They are available in various steel shapes like steel sections (including wide flange beams), steel bars, flat products such as steel strip, steel plate, steel wide flats, seamless and welded steel pipes, square and rectangular hollow sections, forgings and semi-finished products.
EN 10225 S355G10+M plate thickness up to 100mm
Steel number: 1.8813+M
Equivalent: Y20S355M4z, Y20S355N4z
Application: fixed offshore structures, Oil and offshore platform
For EN 10225 S355G10+M plates and hollow sections, samples (from which the test pieces are prepared and tested) shall be tested in the following conditions:
a) For S355G10+M plates nominal thicknesses up to and including 20 mm - as delivered condition only.
b) For S355G10+M plates nominal thicknesses over 20 mm up to and including 40 mm - as delivered condition.
